Music Research For Videos

We need to find a piece of music to overlay into our final videos. There is need for a number of possible tracks so we can play an edit with it when the video is developed. With a range of choices we should be able to work with a piece of music that will not only help portray the overall design but also encourage an emotive feeling that is within context of our projects environment. During last semesters "Digital Computation Studio", I learnt to construct various videos and discovered music's role in promoting an animated video and that it was essential that the music work in cohesion with the narrative story.

I've looked through my own collection of music and also found some good examples on youtube.com. These tracks are a preliminary list i've put together which I believe have the potential to work really well in our particular videos.
  • Ian Brown - F.E.A.R
  • Moby - Porcelain
  • Massive Attack - Teardrop
  • Mozart - Requiem
  • Ludwig Van Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata
  • Pachelbel - Canon in D Major
  • Carl Orff - O Fortuna
  • Richard Strauss - Sprach Zarathustra (2001 A Space Odyssey Opening)
